Sweet Stamps Challenge "Roses"

Hey everyone. I hope you all are off to a wonderful start this week. 

I have a project to share with you for Sweet Stamps. 

This weeks challenge is to use Roses. 

I used some Roses in my floral clusters. 

I had a blast creating this project and I have captured some of 

the making in action for you.

Here we are making a 6 x 6 Shadow Keepsake box. 

Here we go.......

start with four 3x6 strips, score one inch both side

Now fold the strips into tent like pieces glue them all down 

to  one tucked under the next

now cover the chipboard mine is 6 x 6 and super sturdy

glue the corners down to close the "tents"

cover with paper

inking the edges

now I am used these FAB stickers as corners for my box. the link to these are below.

cover a another piece of chip board for the top of the box.

I cut 2 strips for the "hinges" these can be any size i think mine are 2 x 3

glue them to add hinges to the lid of your box I added more stickers

using ink to water color

water coloring over the paint adds a really cool look.

the box can be used to store goodies or decorated as a shadow box.
