Sewing on a Card

This is my first attempt at sewing on a card. It looks like crap...lol...I don't mind. It was fun just to fire up the sewing machine.
I colored the image with my Prisma Colored Pencils.

If you look close you notice I went outside the lines a bit...i was going for a "GLOWING" effect

I used water color paper..I didn't want a snow white paper...

I mounted it on Kraft card stock (paper trey ink) and stitched around the image...

OMG...its so bad...but I wanted to show you guys so that when I get better we will all know how bad it was in the beginning.
